The student competition on electric transportation design - automotive, vessel and aircraft is a new initiative organized by Education Committee, IEEE Transportation Electrification Community (TEC), and jointly organized with the 7th International Conference on Power Electronics Systems and Application (PESA) 2017.
We welcome your design based on electrical means to power a transportation unit/system The design includes, but not limited to:
- Electric vehicle
- Electric vessel
- Electric train
- Electric aircraft
- Electric spacecraft
- Hybrid vehicle/vessel/aircraft
- Vertical transportation
Your design will describe your transportation unit/system that leads to an engineering prototype or product. Successful design will be selected according to the performance in efficiency, travelling distance per charge, cost, robustness, appearance, research and commercial values.
A student from an institution may enter the competition. Your design should be presented in form of a technical paper like in IEEE format. You will be requested to present in the conference.
Prize and certificate will be awarded to the winners of the contest :
1st prize: US$ 2,500
2nd prize: US$ 1,500
3rd prize: US$ 500
